Setemar receives AEO certification and reinforces its quality standards and good practice control

Setemar, the company that concentrates the main multimodal logistics platforms of the Alonso Group, has received the certificate that accredits it as an Authorized Economic Operator (AEO). After an exhaustive period of internal and external audits, the logistics platforms managed by Setemar in Valencia and Barcelona now have full AEO status, both in Customs Simplification and in Protection and Security.

Alonso Group shows at SIL Barcelona the potential of its Global Logistics Plan

Alonso Group, is present as exhibitor at SIL 2018 as part of the delegation of the Valencia Region. Jorge Alonso, President of the group, participates as a speaker in several panel discussions on the present and future of sustainable logistics. “Fira de Barcelona” is hosting the SIL Barcelona 2018 International Logistics Show until 7 June. This event, which is considered to be one of the most important fairs in the logistics sector, this year has an important presence of the Valencia Region as a “Guest Community”.
What's the Global Logistic Plan?
The Global Logistics Project is the bet for the intermodality of the Alonso Group. The backbone concentrates on connecting the nerve centers of the maritime traffic of goods of the Iberian Peninsula through multiclient and multiproduct trains with high reliability and frequency between our own logistics centers. It is a determined bet by Alonso to divert traffic from road to rail. The project has been recognized of strategic interest by the European Commission and co-financed by the European Union through the Connecting Europe Mechanism.
