The Alonso Group<\/a> international structure<\/strong> continues to grow with the launch of a new branch, Alonso Forwarding Honduras<\/a>. The office, located in the country’s industrial city of San Pedro Sula Cort\u00e9s<\/strong> and just 55 kilometres from Puerto Cort\u00e9s maritime terminal, reinforces the extensive coverage currently provided by the international brand Alonso Forwarding<\/strong> in the LATAM<\/strong> region.<\/p>\n

Alonso Forwarding Honduras<\/strong>, which is now fully operational, provides all types of integrated logistics services in all modes of transport and multimodal for all types of goods and projects. The branch has the experience and good relations to cover operations in the main ports<\/strong> of the country such as Puerto Cort\u00e9s as the main artery for maritime transport, as well as Puerto Castilla<\/strong> and San Lorenzo \/ El Henecan.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Also in terms of air transport, Honduras currently has five airports<\/strong> with international status, including Ram\u00f3n Villeda Morales (SAP), Toncont\u00edn (TGU) and the recently integrated Palmerola (XPL), which began operations in 2022, and is projected as a strategic logistics centre<\/strong> for the growing export sector of agricultural and manufactured products.<\/p>\n

Honduras is a crucial point for road transport<\/strong>, connecting with countries such as Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica <\/strong>and Panama<\/strong>. It is currently developing seven logistics corridors that will substantially improve connectivity with the rest of Central America to support trade, industry and the tourism sector.<\/p>\n

The start-up of the new Alonso Forwarding Honduras<\/strong> office will allow it to position itself as an intermediary for crosstrade transactions<\/strong> thanks to the infrastructure and international connections<\/strong> of the Alonso Forwarding network.<\/strong> Finally, in the field of e-commerce,<\/strong> the branch is already working to incorporate platforms that directly connect the services in the network, which will facilitate automated management, real-time tracking and secure transport of goods.<\/p>\n
