Thanks to the Alonso Group<\/a> support, a contribution equivalent to vaccinating 11.160 children<\/strong> against measles has been achieved. This disease is one of the leading causes of child mortality, especially in countries such as the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Central African Republic. Thanks to the holding\u2019s commitment,<\/strong> aid has reached some of the most remote corners of the world, protecting those who need it most.<\/p>\n

The international NGO M\u00e9dicos Sin Fronteras <\/a>organizes annual vaccination campaigns that allow the maximum number<\/strong> of children to be immunized against diseases such as pneumonia, meningitis, and measles, preventing thousands of deaths each year. According to the World Health Organization (WHO)<\/strong>, vaccination is one of the most effective public health interventions, preventing between 2 and 3 million deaths annually, especially in children<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

At the international level, collaboration has also taken place with UNHCR<\/a>, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees<\/strong>, to coordinate humanitarian efforts and provide assistance to displaced persons in conflict-affected regions.
