Thanks to the collaboration of all the workers of Alonso Group, it has been possible to gather more than a hundred glasses that will be destined to people with needs in developing countries. The campaign began last February 5 under the slogan “For more people to see as you see”<\/strong><\/div>\n
\"Solidarity<\/div>\n

Alonso Group<\/a>, within its area of Corporate Social Responsibility<\/strong> (CSR), has delivered to the association Aportem a total of 134 glasses for the NGO Visi\u00f3 Sense Fronteres. Under the slogan “For more people to see as you see”, the company has joined this solidarity initiative<\/strong>, which began last February 5, led by Aportem.<\/p>\n

In each work center of Alonso Group, each one of the glasses was collected until this very relevant figure was achieved. In order to achieve this, the involvement of all the group’s workers<\/strong> has been essential, and they have turned this proposal into a success.<\/p>\n

Lenses of all types and sizes have been brought together: prescription, folding or sunglasses without a case that will be aimed at the people who need it most in developing countries<\/strong>. Once the campaign is over, the lenses will be checked to see their condition and prescription. Subsequently, they will be given to people who have difficulty accessing<\/strong> these types of objects due to their economic situation and who, on the other hand, are an essential element for visual health.<\/p>\n

CSR Area Alonso Group<\/h5>\n

This action falls within the Corporate Social Responsibility area of the Alonso Group, where different social, cultural and environmental initiatives<\/strong> are organised every year, always bearing in mind the support and collaboration of each of its employees, with the aim of contributing to a more equitable society.<\/p>\n

Aportem Association<\/h5>\n

Aportem<\/a> is an association that brings together, since 2016, members of the port community<\/strong>, professional associations or companies that aims to promote social responsibility in the vicinity of the port of Valencia<\/strong>. It focuses on areas such as education, childhood, sport, culture and social integration.<\/p>\n

NGO Visi\u00f3 Sense Fronteres<\/h5>\n

For its part, the NGO Visi\u00f3 Sense Fronteres<\/a> has been carrying out charity campaigns<\/strong> and visual checks on vulnerable people in almost all parts of the world for twenty years. It relies on vision professionals and volunteers to prevent blindness or other serious health problems. They have now completed 20 years of activity<\/strong> and have treated more than 100.000 people, performed 8.000 surgeries and delivered 35.000 eyeglasses worldwide.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
