The multi-purpose terminal located in the port of Sagunto, managed by Alonso Group, has successfully completed the process of implementing the ISO 45001 standard on health and safety management at work. This management system complements those already in place at the terminal in terms of quality, energy or the environment.<\/strong><\/div>\n

Grupo Alonso’s multipurpose terminal has obtained a new certification.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Intersagunto Terminals<\/a>, Alonso Group<\/a>‘s multi-purpose terminal located in the port of Sagunto<\/strong>, has successfully completed the process of implementing the health and safety at work management system ISO 45001. Since the beginning of the year, the existing working procedures have been modified and new ones have been created in order to adapt. This regulation guarantees the performance of the activity, minimising risks and improving the well-being and health of the workers. ISO 45001 complements the integrated management system of Intersagunto Terminals, which already has ISO 9001 (Quality), 14001 (Environmental) and 50001 (Energy) certifications.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Commitment to quality<\/h5>\n

In fact, the commitment to quality and service<\/strong> in the multipurpose terminal is reflected in the availability of the authorisations it already has, such as the Authorised Economic Operator for Security, Authorised Economic Operator for Customs Simplifications, Agreement on Good Housekeeping Practices signed with the Valencia Port Authority or the State Port Service Quality Referential.
\nOn the other hand, Intersagunto Terminales is currently immersed in the inscription of the data of the previous year of the Carbon Footprint Register<\/strong>, compensation and absorption projects, to revalidate the “Calculation” and “Reduce” seals. Thanks to this, customers will be able to know the environmental impact of their goods handled<\/strong> in transit through the terminal.<\/p>\n

Environment Day<\/h5>\n

In another order of things, Intersagunto Terminals will participate as a partner<\/strong>, from 5 to 9 June, in the events organized by the Port of Valencia on the occasion of Environment Day. The goal is to publicize the actions being carried out in this area, and also in the Clock Building there will be didactic workshops for children served by children animators.<\/p>\n

Intersagunto Terminals<\/h5>\n

Intersagunto Terminals, located in the port of Sagunto, is part of Grupo Alonso, formed by more than a hundred companies in seven different business areas. It has a direct connection with the country’s main ports<\/strong> and a total area of 106,677 square metres, as well as a manoeuvring area of 19,100 square metres.
