The Alonso Group&#8217;s land transport division has a new location in a structure built from containers, one of the most characteristic elements of the sector. The original offices, located at the main entrance to the port of Valencia, have been built through the coordinated work of various companies in the holding. The building is composed of <strong>4 floors<\/strong> where the work spaces are carefully distributed, as well as <strong>common areas<\/strong> for meetings, relaxation and terraces overlooking the port of Valencia.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Construction began at the end of 2018<\/strong> and several companies from the holding were involved. <a href=\"https:\/\/grupo-alonso.com\/en\/enterprises\/tecnica-y-manutencion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tymsa<\/a> provided and transformed the containers,<a href=\"https:\/\/grupo-alonso.com\/en\/enterprises\/quality-dual\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> Quality Futura<\/a> was responsible for the design and construction management, and <a href=\"https:\/\/grupo-alonso.com\/en\/enterprises\/transportes-alonso-salcedo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Transportes Alonso<\/a> for moving the containers to their current location. Each one of them has been faithfully painted with the <strong>colors of the main shipping companies<\/strong> in the world, including logos, data and serial number. All companies have granted permission to use their <strong>image on the premises.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>These 12 doors represent the <strong>capacity to create synergies<\/strong> and collaborations between some of the main players in the <strong>national and international logistics sector<\/strong> and show how it is possible to work collaboratively for an evolution and common good.<\/p>\n<p>The result is a <strong>characteristic and original building on the outside<\/strong>, as it is painted in white and Alonso corporate blue, with the combination of various door colours and crowned by Alonso signs illuminated at night.<\/p>\n<div id=\"svjs_6ab49eec2ff77\" class=\"w3-content w3-display-container slide\" data-slide=\"1\" autoplay=\"1\" transition=\"slide\"><br \/>\n<div class=\"Slides animated active \"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/grupo-alonso.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/PREVIO-1.jpg\" alt=\"A wooden set helped the engineers to work the volumes of the building.\" width=\"1200\" height=\"627\" \/><\/div><br \/>\n<div class=\"Slides\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/grupo-alonso.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/PREVIO-2.jpg\" alt=\"The project followed closely the building regulations.\" width=\"1200\" height=\"627\" \/><\/div><br \/>\n<div class=\"Slides\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/grupo-alonso.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/PREVIO-3.jpg\" alt=\"TYMSA welder doing construction work.\" width=\"1200\" height=\"627\" \/><\/div><br \/>\n<button class=\"btnprev w3-button w3-black w3-display-left\">&#10094;<\/button>\n            <button class=\"btnnext w3-button w3-black w3-display-right\">&#10095;<\/button><\/div>\n<h5>Important planning work<\/h5>\n<p>The initial idea was to <strong>use containers<\/strong>, taking advantage of the housing construction experience of the <strong>group&#8217;s company<\/strong>, Tymsa. But as is usually the case during the <strong>planning phase<\/strong>, the engineering team assessed up to ten different options until the <strong>final project<\/strong> was chosen.<\/p>\n<p>The conclusion was that containers would become the <strong>structural element<\/strong>. The creativity of the project was found, curiously, in this set of <strong>wooden pieces<\/strong>. A toy that helps the engineers to work the volumes of the building. The next step was to <strong>develop and design the project,<\/strong> in strict compliance with building regulations. Precisely, this type of construction follows exactly the same type of requirements as the <strong>usual constructions.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h5>Advantages of using containers<\/h5>\n<p>The use of <strong>marine ISO Containers<\/strong> as a <strong>basic structural system<\/strong> has significant advantages in the world of building. Firstly, the <strong>ecological factor,<\/strong> as the containers are recyclable and reusable. They reduce the use of other materials, they reduce the impact on the environment where they are located, they represent a lower energy expenditure during construction, they minimize the environmental impact of the construction process at the level of pollution and noise nuisance and, finally, they facilitate assembly and disassembly work.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, they have the <strong>advantage of safety<\/strong> as they have been designed to be watertight, economical and safe for storing and transporting large tonnage of goods over long distances. The containers have been tested to withstand the marine climate and its movements, maintaining their stability and structural safety against impacts, movements and inclement weather.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, the modular buildings built with ISO Containers <strong>can be moved from one place to another,<\/strong> since the dimensions and connecting connectors for lifting and transport are maintained.
