The Netherlands, located in the centre of Europe and close to the main ports in the north of the continent, is the destination of the latest Alonso Group branch. With an office in Rotterdam, whose port has moved a total traffic exceeding 435 million tonnes in 2024, Alonso Forwarding The Netherlands is now fully operational.
The new branch offers all types of logistics services (sea, air, road, multimodal, warehousing and customs) taking into account the current needs of the supply chain. It also covers services related to last mile logistics and crosstrade, i.e. triangular transport operations, which are very common in international trade.
Alonso Forwarding The Netherlands has a team of professionals with extensive experience in the freight forwarding sector and extensive knowledge of import-export operations. At the helm is Rogier van der Graaf who emphasises “the strategic advantage of the Netherlands which, with its unrivalled infrastructure, logistical expertise and position as a gateway to Europe, offers a perfect setting for our customers”.

The new office specialises in dry cargo, although it can also handle dangerous goods, foodstuffs or project cargo for any production sector. The aim is to offer a personal service and a high level of attention, taking advantage of Alonso Forwarding’s global network, present in five continents.
Alonso Forwarding The Netherlands already works closely with the Alonso brand offices abroad, with a special focus on the US and Far East markets.
