The intermodal terminal managed by Alonso Group in Fuente de San Luis has implemented software focused on automation, digitalization, and intelligent control of its facilities. The new processes will have a direct impact, mainly on railway track operations, access control, traceability, and document management.

The backbone concentrates on connecting the nerve centers of the maritime traffic of goods of the Iberian Peninsula through multiclient and multiproduct trains. The project has been recognized of strategic interest by the European Commission and co-financed by the European Union through the Connecting Europe Mechanism.
