Alonso Group increases its international weight with the launch of Alonso Forwarding Vietnam

Alonso Group, through the brand of its international freight forwarding division Alonso Forwarding, continues its global expansion. It has recently launched its new branch in Vietnam: Alonso Forwarding Vietnam.
With an office in Ho Chi Minh City, very close to the main ports and To Son Nhat International Airport, the new location offers strategic connectivity in a country with great growth potential. Vietnam, with a population of 100 million inhabitants, occupies a key position in Southeast Asia. As such, it offers significant geographical advantages for trade, logistics and international business. Due to its location, with direct access to the South China Sea, it is one of the busiest shipping routes in the world.
Alonso Forwarding Vietnam offers intermodal, sea, air, road, crosstrade and customs services. The branch also handles project cargo, dangerous goods and oversized cargo. The office, led by professional Tasha Thao Tran, has a dynamic and experienced team capable of offering comprehensive logistics solutions tailored to local and international clients. “As part of the internationally recognised Alonso Group, Alonso Forwarding Vietnam combines a solid infrastructure, extensive experience and a culture of service. Great competitive advantages”, highlights Thao Tran.
Industrial focus and customised solutions
Alonso Forwarding Vietnam offers customised logistics solutions for all types of industries. Particularly noteworthy is the strong focus on services for agriculture and agribusiness for products such as rice, coffee, cashew nuts, pepper, fresh fruit or seafood. Coverage includes refrigerated transport, phytosanitary documentation, cargo consolidation for export or door-to-door coordination.
In addition to its expertise in the agricultural sector, other industrial sectors to which it also pays special attention are manufacturing and industry; textiles and clothing; chemicals and automotive raw materials or components.
In this context, Alonso Forwarding Vietnam is trying to strategically position itself to take advantage of the new opportunities that are transforming the country’s logistics landscape, such as the phenomenon of nearshoring from China – with many companies moving their production to Vietnam -, the growth of e-commerce or state support for the digitisation of the logistics sector.

Flexibility, key in the current international context
In an international environment marked by uncertainty, flexibility in the supply chain has become a strategic factor for maintaining competitiveness. In this sense, Alonso Forwarding Vietnam, aware of this changing environment, seeks to offer its customers ‘adaptable and resilient logistics solutions’ capable of responding to variations in costs, regulations or trade routes.
Vietnam is currently a party to numerous international trade agreements, which facilitates more fluid foreign trade. Moreover, in terms of relations between Spain and Vietnam, the entry into force of the Free Trade Agreement between the EU and Vietnam has boosted bilateral exchanges in recent years.
In recent years, Alonso Group, through its international freight forwarding brand Alonso Forwarding, has strengthened its presence in Southeast Asia. In addition to the recent launch of Alonso Forwarding Vietnam, last summer it opened a new office in Thailand, based in Bangkok. Two new locations located at strategic points on the major world trade routes. The two branchs join the veteran office of Alonso Group in China, Alonso Forwarding China, which has seven points distributed in the Asian giant: Hong Kong, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Ningbo, Qingdao, Xiamen and Guangzhou. An extensive and specialised coverage that allows us to offer comprehensive logistics solutions in tune with the demands of a global environment and with tariff tensions.
