QUALITY DUAL INTEGRA, AN EXAMPLE OF COMMITMENT TO PARITY, BY ADHERING TO THE EQUALITY PLAN

Quality Dual Integra, Special Employment Centre, has established the Equality Plan endorsed by the Generalitat Valenciana. With this measure, the company demonstrates its commitment to parity and equality between men and women in the workplace, as well as to family reconciliation. An implementation that they have developed internally in a voluntary and anticipated manner and that they will extend to the parent company, Quality Dual.
As of next year, all companies with more than 50 employees must have an obligatory Equality Plan, a rule regulated by Organic Law 3/2007, which establishes a transitional period so that companies can adapt according to the number of employees. With this adhesion, Quality Dual Integra has already anticipated the future regulations while Quality Dual – dedicated to the implementation of integral management systems for different sectors, cleaning or home care – is working to obtain its own plan soon.
Equal treatment and opportunities
The Equality Plan is an important step forward for the company and Alonso Group, as it involves the fulfilment of a set of measures, endorsed after a diagnosis of the situation, aimed at achieving equal treatment and opportunities in the company, as well as eliminating discrimination on the basis of sex.
This type of plan sets out the specific equality objectives to be achieved, the strategies and practices to be adopted to achieve them, as well as the establishment of effective systems for monitoring and evaluating the objectives set.
ISO 9001 and 14001
On the other hand, Quality Dual and Quality Dual Integra have achieved the ISO 9001 certification – which determines the requirements for a Quality Management System – and ISO 14001 – international standard of environmental management – which guarantees and certifies their good practices. Both companies have been working and establishing processes to improve their activities, which ultimately impacts on their end customers.
A quality policy that is in line with the work currently being carried out by other Alonso Group companies.
Successful bidders in the Bank of Spain tender
It should also be noted that the “UTE Grupo Quality BDE Valencia” awarded the public tender for the cleaning service at the Bank of Spain. The UTE – Temporary Union of Companies – between Quality Dual and Quality Dual Integra, constituted to obtain the said tender, has been selected for the work so, during the next three years, it will be in charge of the cleaning in the Valencia delegation. A contract that could be extended for two more years.
The fact that Quality Dual Integra is a Special Employment Centre accredited by the Valencian Government, as well as Quality Dual’s great experience in services and cleaning, were two important factors in their being able to win the tender.
