Alonso Logistics India expands with 6 new offices

In a recent expansion announcement, Alonso Logistics India Pvt. Ltd, the Indian subsidiary of the Global giant Grupo Alonso, unveiled their service offerings from Chennai, Tirupur, Tuticorin, Coimbatore and Ahmedabad.

Earlier this year, Alonso India had started functioning from Bangalore, the IT capital of India. With the current addition, the Indian presence has reached now to 8 offices in total for the company.

Expansion in India was not a spontaneous decision, as plans and preparations were under way for the last couple of years. The company management consider this as an opportune time to invest in additional resources, as the country is witnessing steadfast progress in all its business sectors. Alonso Logistics India prepared one year, identifying potential regions where they can showcase their first-class service offerings and benefit out of a booming economy like India, explained Jairam K.R, Managing Director, Alonso Logistics India.

Tirupur, Tuticorin and Coimbatore

Team Alonso Logistics India, Tirupur, Tuticorin and Coimbatore will be spearheaded by Thainis Raj, who carries with him more than 2 decades of experience in the field of Freight forwarding and Logistics. Raj will be supported by an efficient team to streamline the activities in the region.

Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad, being the focal point of the western region when it comes to freight forwarding activities, is a strategic positioning for Alonso which has got access to multiple entry points for unhindered cargo movement. The company has inducted a team of professionals to manage the activities in this region.

Chennai

Being a Gateway port, Chennai enjoys a pivotal role in the Southern part of the country for freight and logistics. The numerous industries ranging from Automobile to handicrafts, makes Chennai a highly potential market for Alonso. Politically and administration wise as well, presence in Chennai could leverage the Alonso India activities in the entire state of Tamil Nadu.
