The 240 MWp Atlantic Photovoltaic project, developed by Diverxia Infrastructure, has met all the requirements to continue in the process of participation in the next auction of renewable projects. The meeting will take place at the end of October in the South American country.

In 2017, the company began the development of this plan, which expects to generate 469 GWh per year, enough energy to supply 170,000 Colombian homes, and which will prevent the emission of 314,150 Tn of CO2¹ into the atmosphere each year. With an area of approximately 530 hectares, the company expects to begin construction of the plant in the course of 2020.

These milestones allow Diverxia Infrastructure to continue the development of its first large photovoltaic project in Colombia and consolidates itself as one of the main companies promoting this type of project in the Colombian market, achieving compliance with its global business plan.
