Alonso Group is strengthening its presence in Panama by organising a padel tournament featuring over 600 professionals
The Alonso holding company, through Alonso Forwarding Panama, has organised the first edition of the Alonso Group Padel Tournament. This sporting event brought together more than 630 participants in Panama City, serving as a meeting point where sport, business and international networking came together to foster synergies and new collaborations.
The tournament, which was also supported by the Legendario brand, has helped to boost Alonso Forwarding’s presence, visibility and reach in Central America. It has been a perfect opportunity to strengthen relationships, forge strategic links and consolidate the Alonso Group brand in the region.
Furthermore, this event has also demonstrated Alonso Group’s commitment to society, showing that its actions extend beyond its business activities to promote values of cooperation, community and social responsibility.
This is not the first time that Alonso Group has organised a sporting event, but it is the first time it has done so outside Spain, thereby consolidating its extensive international expansion. The group currently operates across five continents and, in recent years, has strengthened its presence in key market areas, thereby consolidating its global reach.
Over 700 hours of play across seven matchdays
Over the course of seven days, 560 matches were played, totalling more than 700 hours of play. Furthermore, the direct involvement of participants linked to the Alonso Group has helped to strengthen ties with key clients and open up new opportunities within the logistics sector. Throughout the week, the event served as an ideal forum for fostering closer relationships between clients, suppliers and the Alonso Forwarding Panama team.
An event characterised by its uniqueness and dynamism
Beyond the competition itself, the tournament stood out for the attention paid to every detail and for a presentation that reflected Alonso Group’s corporate identity. Features such as the VIP Lounge and the welcome packs helped to create a unique experience, conveying values such as approachability, innovation, dynamism and teamwork.
The Alonso Group Tournament drew to a close with a closing dinner, featuring a performance by the well-known band Los Rabanes, which brought all the participants together in a relaxed atmosphere, strengthening their connection with the brand, their sense of community and their spirit of cooperation.
