To conduct the training sessions, the Saudi Arabia Football Federation has had the help of Mark Clattemburg, one of the best referees in the world, famous for having been in charge of directing the finals of the past editions of the European Cup and Champions Leage.
Looking at the World Cup and the Olympics
During these days the participants in this sports stage have worked both physically and technically, and have been able to familiarize themselves with the new Video Arbitration Technology (VAR) to prepare them for their progressive implementation in different international competitions.
This training period will be decisive in the professional career of these 41 referees, since among them will be selected the members of the referee team for the next Tokyo Olympics and the FIFA World Cup in Russia.
