Alonso Group, through Disbroquer, has brought humanitarian material to Lesbos. .

Alonso Group's representatives participated in the inclusive workshop on work.

Alonso Group is facing the last months of the year leading numerous initiatives in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Disbroquer, specialized in import and export services in international transport, has collaborated with the NGO “Olvidados” in the transport of humanitarian material to the island of Lesbos (Greece). The company was responsible for coordinating the shipment of all equipment from the port of Valencia to the Greek enclave through the container ship “Sine A”.

Disbroquer is the only Spanish company that has participated in this solidarity mission and, in the near future, plans to continue collaborating in this type of initiatives to help the most disadvantaged groups.

The humanitarian material (clothes, footwear, basic necessities…) will be destined to the NGOs that are attending to the hundreds of migrants that arrive to the Greek island coming from the different migratory flows of North Africa and Eastern Europe.

Stock Logistic’ s donation in benefit of Brúfol

Stock Logistic has once again demonstrated its altruism with the donation of a large amount of computer equipment to the Valencian foundation Brúfol. It is a non-profit organization that works in the socio-labour insertion, training and social accompaniment to marginalized groups, especially migrant women.

In addition, professionals from the IT area of Stock Logistic were in charge of installing all the equipment to be used by some of the members of the association.

This technological donation has been coordinated by Aportem-Valencia Solidarity Port, an organization formed by associations, institutions and companies linked to the Valencian port logistics sector.

This is not the first time that an Alonso Group company has collaborated with Aportem-Valencia Solidarity Port . At the beginning of the year it got involved in the campaign “For more people to see as you see” of the NGO Visió Sense Fronteres. It is an organisation that has been carrying out charity actions, visual check-ups and surgical operations on needy people all over the world for more than twenty years.

Women’s access to the world of work

Another of the solidarity actions in which Alonso Group has participated recently has been its presence in a forum on access to the world of work for women in a situation of monomarentality, vulnerability or risks of social exclusion. Precisely thanks to this forum, Alonso Group has included two women on its staff who were contacted at the meeting. This is yet another example of the company’s commitment to supporting the most disadvantaged groups.

All these initiatives have been framed in the area of Alonso Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility where every year different social, cultural, sports and environmental activities are organised, always bearing in mind the support and collaboration of each one of its employees.
