Legendario brings to Madrid the essence of Cuba through a total gastronomic experience

Legendario organized last November 28 its Cuban Day, a tribute to the Caribbean island through the five senses. Participants in the event cooked iconic dishes of Cuban gastronomy reinterpreted using as star ingredient the different varieties of Ron Legendario.

Cuba is a land of contrasts, with a cultural tradition as rich and varied as its people. Trying to condense the essence of the Caribbean country in an experiential event is a challenge that only a brand with a marked Cuban DNA like Legendario could face successfully. Last November 28th, the Cuban rum company organized for the third consecutive year its Legendario Cuban Day.

The Kitchen Club space in Madrid has been the place chosen this year to host this gastronomic evening in which a select group of participants have been able to put on the stoves in an original showcooking. The premise was to elaborate a complete menu in which all the dishes combined some of the different varieties of Ron Legendario.

To achieve their objective, the attendees, guided by the Kitchen Club team, updated some of the most recognized dishes from the traditional Cuban recipe book, turning them into haute cuisine creations. A menu that could not miss classic names such as ropa vieja, roasted suckling pig or beans, but reinvented Legendario style.

The original Cuban experience

The Legendario Cuban Day intends to be the particular homage that Legendario offers to the island through its gastronomic culture. Every year, influencers and personalities from the world of communication and social networks are selected to participate in this interactive experience.

Cuban cuisine is the common thread. But if we are talking about Cuba and its gastronomy, it is enough to add music to the cocktail for the fuse to light and the party to explode. Throughout the evening, the best themes of Cuban music were presented live. Cooking to the rhythm of son spreads optimism to every dish.

And after dinner the coffee. But not just any coffee. An expert cocktail shaker taught the applied apprentices how to elaborate the original flambé coffee of Elixir Legendario, the “Originally Cuban”.

As could not be otherwise, the music invites dancing, and the day ended in the best possible way, with an authentic Cuban party in which the cocktails of Ron Legendario put the finishing touch to an experience destined to the enjoyment with the five senses.
