Pobla Marina welcomes the summer with a wide range of activities for all ages

With the arrival of summer, Pobla Marina becomes one of the most complete leisure options on the Valencian coast. The marina managed by Alonso Group has scheduled sports, cultural and restoration activities for all audiences, always with the sea as a background.

Located in La Pobla de Farnals, just ten minutes from the city of Valencia, Pobla Marina is not only an ideal marina for the practice of water sports. During the summer months it also becomes one of the most interesting points of attraction on the Valencian coast.

Faithful to its idea of being a marina open to the public and where everyone has a place, Pobla Marina has been carrying out a series of activities and proposals for all tastes since the beginning of June that will last until the end of the summer.

A port full of life

The children have their protagonism through the summer school organized by the ‘Aussie Surf Club‘, in which the youngest children can enjoy surf lessons adapted to their age and also learn English while having fun.

Canoeing, through the Pobla Marina Sea Kayaking Club, is another of the sports that increases its level of outings, training and initiation and improvement courses with the summer. Jet skis and scuba diving also have their own space in Pobla Marina, where different entities organize from diving courses and baptisms, to the rental of jet skis, recreational boats and all kinds of activities to enjoy the sea and sport.

Sport at all levels and devotion to the sailors patron

In addition to holding several nautical regattas every year, among which the catamarans are already a reference point, Pobla Marina serves as a base for all kinds of sports competitions. During the month of June, the popular night race 10k has passed through the interior of its facilities and also the IV swim of La Pobla de Farnals and the regional championship of spearfishing have used Pobla Marina as a base of operations.

One of the most eagerly awaited events each year is the celebration of the Virgen del Carmen, patron saint of seafarers. As could not be otherwise, Pobla Marina has hosted this multitudinous celebration, much loved by all the people, which highlights its impressive maritime procession.

The fashionable place this summer

But without a doubt the star of the summer is Proa, the beach club that for the second consecutive year has reopened its doors at the Pobla Marina swimming pool. With a careful decoration down to the smallest detail, Proa proposes us to eat dinner or simply enjoy a drink in the best atmosphere with live performances and DJ sessions.

Pobla Marina has around thirty commercial spaces where you can find leisure and gastronomy proposals for everyone. Shops, restaurants, cafés….any excuse to spend a summer afternoon strolling around its facilities.

Thanks to its configuration in which the mooring area is perfectly integrated with the commercial area, Pobla Marina is a barrier-free marina that receives more than 60,000 visitors each year and a large number of tourists, neighbours and holidaymakers who find its surroundings the ideal space to enjoy their holidays.
