Sustainability is the focus of the Alonso Group’s new image campaign

The Alonso Group‘s commitment to the environment is transversal and includes the three main business areas of the holding company (Logistics; Energy and Infrastructures; Leisure and Services). A field in which it has been working for years at different levels and whose results, in the medium and long term, will be significant. As a result of this evolution, the holding company is developing a new communication and image campaign where this project is visualised.
The first example is the new video on its website, which focuses on sustainability and environmental policy. A philosophy that has been captured in audiovisual format and whose launch coincides with the update of its Linkedin profile, the professional social network par excellence, where Alonso Group has more than 4,000 followers.
Key concepts for the present and future
The audiovisual work, which also visualises the three main business areas of the holding company, deals with key concepts such as sustainable logistics, alternative energies and data innovation. Firstly, more sustainable logistics (environmentally, socially and economically) refers to the commitment to intermodality – where the Alonso Group‘s Global Logistics Plan stands out – and the consumption of alternative energies in all modes of transport (land, sea…) in favour of a greater decarbonisation of the planet.
Secondly, the promotion of alternative energies, where the holding company’s Energy and Infrastructures division plays a major role, alludes to all the photovoltaic projects developed throughout the world. This is a field that is gaining strategic weight every day and which is set to be one of the major forces behind the post-Covid economic recovery19.
Finally, data innovation refers to the use of technology (blockchain, Business Intelligence or R&D) to offer customers greater traceability, more control over documentation or import-export flows. Internally, this area translates into greater cybersecurity and improved work processes.
A video of less than a minute that manages to summarise the main lines of action of the Alonso Group, a benchmark at national and international level, and which is moving towards its sixtieth anniversary with the full conviction that the future is either green or it is not.
Paradigm change in all economic sectors
All economic sectors will be facing a paradigm shift in which the mandatory implementation of environmentally friendly policies will be a constant. A dynamic whose effects will have consequences beyond the strictly commercial sphere. In this sense, Alonso Group is already on the road to economic and environmental sustainability, leading the economy of the future, which will be greener, without forgetting other relevant aspects for the company, such as diversification and internationalisation.
