The scope and role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in logistics has been the subject of debate at a conference on new technologies led by professionals from Alonso Group. In a world in constant transformation, AI should be seen as a valuable enabling tool and a great opportunity, although the value will continue to reside in people.

WHAT IS THE GLOBAL LOGISTICS PLAN?

The Global Logistics Project is the Alonso Group‘s commitment to intermodality. The backbone focuses on connecting the nerve centres of maritime freight traffic on the Iberian Peninsula through multi-customer and multi-product trains with high reliability and frequency between our own logistics centres. It is a firm commitment by Alonso to divert road traffic to rail. The project has been recognised as being of strategic interest by the European Commission and co-financed by the European Union.
