Alonso Group supports the young promises of motorcycling

Next April begins a new season of the competition ‘Cuna de Campeones’, a national championship that consists of six tests that take place in the best speed circuits in the Iberian Peninsula.
The objective of this tournament, promoted by the Circuit de la Comunitat Valenciana Ricardo Tormo, is to train and promote the talent of future motorcycling champions. At the same time, Cuna de Campeones puts special emphasis on education in values such as effort, improvement or fellowship. A way of understanding the work aligned with the philosophy of Alonso Group that tries to promote these values, supporting the young promises of this sport.
With its commitment, Alonso Group will be present one more year in this competition by supporting Carlos Giménez, one of these young drivers who strive to achieve the dream of becoming a name in professional motorcycling.
This young Valencian pilot, now 12, has been competing on a motorbike since he was just six, and his progression each season has placed him among the top five riders of the competition at the national level.
A mine of elite athletes
Despite his young age, Carlos will compete this year in the category Pre Moto 4 (PM4), which rides on 250 cc motorcycles that reach speeds close to 175 kilometers per hour. Jorge Lorenzo, Nico Terol or Héctor Barberá are some names of pilots with trajectories and very similar developments in the beginnings of the pilot Carlos Giménez.
In addition, the season that opens in the spring and will last until the end of November, will allow the kids to run in the same official circuits in which take place the great prizes of motorcycling: Montmeló, Cheste, Estoril…
Although these young people dedicate much of their free time to training, both physical and psychological values and skills, they are clear that to be successful as athletes it is imperative not to neglect their education.
To promote this responsible attitude towards sports, one of the requirements demanded by ‘Cuna de Campeones’ to support these young sports talents is to be able to maintain an impeccable academic record throughout the season.
