Alonso Forwarding Panamá, a great result in its first year of activity
This August marks just one year since Alonso Forwarding Panama started its activity. So the opportunity to participate in the Alonso Group Newsletter now could not have been more appropriate. An excellent way of communication so that we can take stock and also explain our trajectory or more immediate plans.
Exactly 365 days ago we started this great project that is Alonso Forwarding Panama. Our ambition was to achieve a comparative ranking in the international market. To offer logistics to our customers where we not only transport goods from point A to point B, but also to transmit our vision, mission and values. Today all this is a reality, and from these pages we would like to thank all of Alonso Group for their support.
Big operations, big customers
We are currently operating large operations for important customers in the country, both in import and export. We are also leaders in the export of bulk liquids in flexitanks and isotanks. Operations that would not be possible without the team of 17 great professionals of Alonso Forwarding Panama distributed in 3 offices: two operational (commercial, administrative and operational) in the area of Panama City and Colon Free Zone as well as a commercial office in the area of Chiriqui, on the border with Costa Rica. Strategic locations for the good logistic development and to guarantee a great service to our customers with the best profitability.
Achieving this has not been easy as it has been months of hard work, important negotiations, trust from our customers and suppliers, but, above all, a lot of dedication, effort, commitment, humility and innovation from all of us. We have an incredible team of people, with exceptional skills and who have made their work an example to follow in each of their areas and functions. This has been the result of our success. Without them nothing would have been possible. Thank you all.
The importance of the human team
Many companies in the logistics sector are experiencing a year of confusion, with low growth and even financial problems. However, at Alonso Forwarding Panama we have found the right ways to obtain profitable results that today allow us to have the necessary confidence that it will be a good year. We will continue to comply with our business plan and continue to grow.
In summary, the balance of our first operational year could not be more positive. Not only financially, but also when it comes to the most important asset of Alonso Forwarding Panama, and by extension of the entire Alonso Group: human capital. Every day they give their best for the progress and development of our company in Panama. The best way to continue to meet our objectives and achieve the goals we have set for ourselves.
