Alonso Forwarding Perú: continue on the path of growth started in 2022

This April it is the turn of our colleagues at Alonso Forwarding Perú. From the head office in Lima, they give us their balance of this past year, their plans for 2023 and their commitment to increase their relationship with the rest of the Alonso branchs. They do not forget to mention the strong political and social crisis that the country has experienced in recent months, which is now on the way to stabilisation.

Among the next objectives of Alonso Forwarding Perú for this year, with offices in the capital, Lima, and in Callao, is to grow in volume by at least the same percentage as in 2022. A very ambitious task, as last year was very positive in terms of the growth and consolidation of our brand in the country.

In addition, in December we moved to a new office, also in the San Isidro District, which is much larger and will allow us to continue growing in 2023. In this new space we have set up a showroom for Legendario, an initiative that will help us to promote the brand here. Alonso Forwarding Perú‘s staff is currently made up of 23 professionals, with one more person joining in mid-April.

Strengthening relations with the other branchs Alonso

In 2023, as agreed at the Alonso Group International Meeting held last November in Valencia, we are focusing on developing business with the countries where we have our own structure. From Alonso Forwarding Perú we have appointed a Trade Line Leader of the commercial team for Europe, Asia, India, LATAM and USA. This is helping us to better identify potential customers and to be more efficient in the search for new business. The best coverage for an international group with presence in five continents.

Perú, on the road to normalisation after the severe crisis of recent months

In recent months there has been a lot of talk about the political and social crisis we are experiencing. Fortunately, the riots and roadblocks have ceased. However, the political situation remains unstable due to the serious corruption cases of the previous government, which have plunged the country into an institutional crisis.

On the economic front, the political crisis and the international situation of rising prices and national inflation are leading to a growth forecast for 2023 of just over 1%, which means that uncertainty will continue at least in the coming months.

Thank you all very much. ¡Únete a la fuerza del movimiento! Join the power of the movement!
