In Alonso Logistics Argentina, with a branch in Buenos Aires, we would like to take the opportunity of participating in the Alonso Group Newsletter to express our public gratitude to our team. We have been through a pandemic that, in addition to leaving thousands of victims, has caused unprecedented economic devastation. In this context, the tenacity and unwavering will of the Alonso Logistics Argentina team has been fundamental to our continued growth and progress.
We would also like to thank Pedro López, CEO of Alonso Forwarding, Carlos Pulido and Antonio Pitarch for their unconditional support during this time. Our proposals have always been accepted in a horizon that was not always certain. This gratitude is also extended to professionals such as Pepe Castelló, who on a daily basis provides great support to the administration and finance areas of Alonso Logistics Argentina, or Laura Duarte, a luxury assistant.
Constant work with Alonso Forwarding branch
If there is one thing we are proud of, it is the closeness we maintain with the South American branches such as Alonso Forwarding Perú, Alonso Forwarding Colombia -under the direction of Carlos González, an exceptional human being-, with Yanori Valerio of Alonso Forwarding Costa Rica or the Alonso Forwarding Panama branch. A brand recently created under the leadership of Julián Cuéllar and his great team, with whom we started working before it officially existed and continue to grow with them today.
Moreover, in recent years, we have increased our collaboration with the Alonso Group offices in Spain. An increasingly intense back and forth that has resulted in a very considerable increase in operations. Teamwork with outstanding results.
Our 10th anniversary
On another note, at Alonso Logistics Argentina we have also celebrated our 10th anniversary. A milestone that the whole team wanted to celebrate with customers, suppliers and partners in a relaxed atmosphere surrounded by good music. Undoubtedly a very special celebration for everyone. A trajectory that cannot be understood without the work and effort of each one of us, as well as the unconditional support of Alonso Group.
Alonso Logistics Argentina in pandemic
Looking back, we can’t help but remember the impact of the pandemic on our day-to-day work. In March 2020, we were forced to implement the home office, something that had never been done before in our work. The whole team adapted and the home office is here to stay, although we have made some modifications over time. Another great challenge that we managed to meet was to begin to carry out land and sea grain export operations, a very important point for our delegation today.
Also during this period we strived, more than ever, to strengthen the bonds with all our customers. To let them know that we were there to help them and solve their problems at any time of the day, even if we were physically separated. Pandemic stuff.
