Our colleagues from Alonso Logistics Türkíye, with offices in Istanbul, Mersin and Kayseri, are in charge of opening the year in this section that aims to bring us a little closer to our different branchs. The balance of 2023 and the forecasts for this year are the main topics.

Alonso Logistics Türkíye, a branch with great potential for growth
Türkíye has experienced both challenges and successes in 2023. Our country’s strategic geographical position remains an asset, facilitating trade and connectivity between Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

Our track record can be summarised as one of great success and evolution. Exactly two years ago we started with an office in Istanbul. Now we have a stronger presence in the country. Specifically in Mersin, a key port city on the Mediterranean coast, and in Kayseri, an important logistics hub in the heart of Turkey. This expansion further reinforces our commitment to offer high quality logistics services from within the country. A move that aligns with Alonso Logistics Türkíye‘s vision to be a comprehensive logistics partner for its customers on five continents.

Despite positive developments, Türkíye faces challenges that require careful navigation. Internal political tensions, economic disparities and regional conflicts pose constant challenges to the nation’s stability. Finding a balance between national interests and international cooperation remains a delicate task for business.

However opportunities also abound. Türkíye‘s dynamic and young population, combined with its strategic position, gives the nation a key role in shaping the future. Taking technological advances, fostering innovation and adopting sustainable practices can contribute to a brighter future for Türkíye.

Expansion of the sales team and new certifications

We have recently added Ms. Gizem Yapici to our team as our new national sales and marketing manager. An important reinforcement to keep moving forward in our expansion and improvement of our services. An approach to keep adapting to market changes, consumer trends or competition. Flexibility and adaptability are essential in a dynamic business environment.

In addition, in the last few months of the year we have also made the news by obtaining ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications. These standards are an example of the company’s ongoing commitment to excellence in the quality of its services and its dedication to sustainable environmental management.

Furthermore, in a gesture to adapt to the country’s new English name, Türkíye, we have changed our name to Alonso Logistics Türkíye. This change reflects its respect for Turkish culture and identity, as well as its willingness to be in line with current regulations and trends.
