MEEU, Madrid Exposiciones y Eventos Urbanos, turns Chamartín Railway Station in an epicenter of entertainment and bussines.

The historic Chamartin train station revitalized and reconverted in an epicenter of leisure and business thanks to MEEU (Madrid Exposiciones y Eventos Urbanos). A multi-purpose 33,000 square meters space created by Grupo Alonso, comes with the vocation of becoming a reference in Madrid.

The implementation of MEEU has an investment around eight million euros and is presented as a multi-space to enjoy experiential leisure with cultural character and international vocation, cosmopolitan, with plenty of offers and possibilities of hosting all kinds of quality content events.

Located in Madrid’s Chamartín station, this avant-garde space, unique in Madrid, was created with the intention of becoming a cultural and entertainment reference of Madrid, with special interest in pop-up events, where plastic arts, audiovisual performances or live music mix with food, sports, family, business and lifestyle. All of this offered with evolving formats and organized both own way and by third parties.

Meanwhile, Hugo Jimenez, CEO of MEEU, says that “MEEU is a unique life experience. A talent magnet. A quality content generator. With MEEU, Chamartin Station will become, as well as a strategic focus for long distance transportation of the capital, in the nerve and cultural entertainment and business center of Madrid.

The MEEU project was born when ADIF, the spanish railway infrastructure manager, held a competition for the redevelopment of the upper area of Chamartin Station. Grupo Alonso presented the winning project to manage the exploitation of the place for fifteen years.

Leisure and business near the financial heart of Madrid

MEEU has vanguard spaces capable of hosting numerous events and business meetings. In this way, MEEU Demo aims to be trendier in the celebration of all kinds of activities and events. Meanwhile, MEEU Factory presents itself as the center with more personality of the north of the city, being the ideal environment for work sessions and networking.

MEEU Filme, a space that has 6 auditoriums, offers a new place for debate and conferences and MEEU Roller, the legendary skating rink Chamartin 80, is presented as an ideal reconverted space to hold original group events, and performances.

Three restaurants MEUU Zielou, MEEU Ático Urbano and MEEU Lab represent the culinary side of this project. The first, with a proposal for haute cuisine and cocktails designed by Maestro Brothers for every budget. With the second, MEEU renews and reopens this legendary space to hold different events, attended by the official MEEU catering. Finally, MEEU Lab is reconverted in a show and restaurant space for events, organizing activities, performances or exhibitions of artistic, cultural or sporting nature around the concept of entertainment.

On the same floor where is MEEU, Chamartin Station also has spaces where trade agreements have been reached to exploit synergies between them. This is the case of the Castellana Sports Club, Bowling Chamartin, Hotel Chamartin Weare, or franchise Pans & Company.

All this, with the differential element that gives it its privileged location, extensive transportation Metro network, long distance train, light rail, taxis and connection with the Adolfo Suarez Madrid Barajas airport.
