Axial Structural Solutions, a world reference in the design, manufacture and installation of solar structures for photovoltaic installations, has successfully passed the ISO 9001:2015 certification for quality management systems. The certificate will be valid for the next three years. In addition, it has also recently been accredited with the ISO 14001 standard on the environment.

The new brand of Alonso Group, Alonso Forwarding Holding, was born with the aim of coordinating the entire forwarding division, both nationally and internationally, and unify the purchases of this branch of the group. Pedro López has been appointed CEO of Alonso Forwarding Holding and will be in charge of leading this new Alonso Group project.

The company, part of Alonso Group, has inaugurated its new office and warehouse building in Barcelona. The mission is to adapt to the growth experienced by the freight forwarder in recent years and, at the same time, take advantage of its proximity to the group's intermodal platform in Can Tunis. The event coincided with the 15th anniversary of the company's incorporation in Barcelona.

The multi-purpose terminal at the port of Sagunto, managed by the Alonso Group, has achieved full certification as an Authorised Economic Operator (AEOF). After the security modality achieved in 2015, it now has customs simplifications, which makes it the first Valenciaport terminal to obtain it both. This authorisation is developed within its Integrated Management System.

Diverxia Infrastructure, an Alonso Group company dedicated to the promotion of renewable energy projects, has achieved the Connection Concept granted by the Mining Energy Planning Unit (UPME) of Colombia, ensuring the right to evacuate energy to the grid. This milestone allows the company to continue the development of its first major photovoltaic project in Colombia, which will have a total installed capacity of 240 MW.

Marítima Alisea, the company specialising in transport between the Canary Islands and the Iberian Peninsula which forms part of the Alonso Group, has just renewed its fleet of reefer containers for the transport of perishable goods. The new 45 feet pallet wide units are a great benefit for its customers, as their special dimensions allow them to obtain up to 25% more cargo capacity than conventional containers.
